According to scientists, dark patches have been spotted on the planet’s clouds which could suggest that microbes may be able to live there.
They used space probes to detect dark patches around the rust-coloured body of Venus, which resemble light-absorbing properties of bacteria seen on Earth.
The research was published earlier this week and suggests that the microbes could survive by being blown around by winds in Venus’ cooler cloud tops.
The NASA-backed report reads:
“Our comparative analyses support the blended hypotheses that terrestrial-type biology can survive within and contribute to the spectral signatures of Venus’ clouds”
“To test the ideas presented here, we propose the need for an integrated chemical, biochemical, and microbiological study focusing on the survival and spectroscopy of terrestrial microorganisms under Venus’ cloud conditions.”
The experts said in light of the findings, further investigation of Venus is needed, while the team behind the research has called for samples to be returned back to Earth.
“Looking forward, investigations into the actual habitability of Venus’ clouds would ideally benefit from a mixture of orbiter, lander, airplane/balloons, and sample return missions.”
Sanjay Limaye from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Space Science and Engineering Centre said the planet has had plenty of time to evolve, adding: “Venus shows some episodic dark, sulfuric rich patches, with contrasts up to 30-40 percent in the ultraviolet, and muted in longer wavelengths.”
He also added
“Microbes may survive by being blown around by winds in the cooler cloud tops.”
Venus is known for its incredibly inhospitable surface conditions, encountering acid rain and temperatures close to 500°C.
The latest explosive findings come after research fellow Barry DiGregorio rocked the science world last month when he told Daily Star Online he believes aliens have already been discovered on Mars.
Dr DiGregorio had accused NASA of covering up evidence of alien life on the planet, and was convinced images released by the space agency’s Curiosity rover this year are proof of trace fossils.
According to the research fellow for the University of Buckingham, these present signs of “soft bodies creatures” who once roamed the Red Planet.
We’re all going to die the aliens are coming! April Fool’s, haha! Oh, what’s that, a NASA study says aliens could be living in the acid clouds of Venus. Not laughing now, are we?
Isn’t that just incredible – scientists can tell you about ice located under the surface of a planet 54,600,000km away – I couldn’t even tell you what’s in my fridge and that’s about half an hour away.
According to Scientists
Venus has had plenty of time to evolve life on its own.
On computer models that suggest Venus once had a hospitable climate with liquid on its surface as far as long as 2 billion years ago, he added: “That’s much longer than is believed to have occurred on Mars.”
There’s A Game That’s Surfaced From The Deep Web And It’s Scary As Hell. According to legend, Sad Satan clawed its way up from the Deep Web, and now that you know about it, it’s not going away. Videos of this strange game recently surfaced on our normal, everyday internet, and according to the people who found it and made it available, it comes from the dark recesses of the Deep Web.
It’s been claimed that the original version of the game was filled with upsetting images of gore and child pornography, but the version made available for us Shallow Web users, like popular YouTuber PewDiePie, has been stripped of graphic imagery and malicious code.
Despite that, or maybe because of that threat of something even worse looming out there somewhere, it’s scary as hell (if a little inscrutable).
Apologies in advance if this is like a The Ring situation and I’m causing all sorts of paranormal deaths by sharing any of this. I guess just be careful about any ghost babies crawling out of your computer monitor for the next few days.
Where Do Sad Satan Came From?
In just a few months, Sad Satan has become a bit of an internet legend. Its origins are obscure, and its spread online is filled with misdirection and intrigue.
Back in June, a relatively niche YouTube channel called Obscure Horror Corner uploaded the first part of its playthrough of Sad Satan. Up until that point, Obscure Horror Corner had made a name for itself by posting footage from Japanese horror games and clips from various Asian horror films. These games were often old DOS games or independently made and distributed titles that would be tough for the average person to get their hands on.
In the description that originally accompanied the first Sad Satan video, Obscure Horror Corner claimed to have downloaded the game from the Deep Web and said and that they deleted the game before they completed it because the file was generating text documents on their desktop filled with strange text and gibberish.
The game started to pick up steam after the person behind Obscure Horror Corner did an interview with Kotaku, and it wasn’t long before a link popped up claiming to be the original version of the game. The file contained graphic images of gore, human mutilation, and child pornography, and those who downloaded it claimed that it caused their computers to behave strangely and crash.
The file was later sanitized by Reddit user BlindStark on the Sad Satan subreddit, which allowed people to explore the game without having to worry about upsetting and illegal images. (Despite claims that the sanitized file is clean, I wouldn’t recommend downloading it, even if you can manage to find it.)
What Is Sad Satan?
All the videos are pretty similar, and Sad Satan doesn’t really seem much like much of anything. The game itself is difficult to get a hold of, so all we really have are these five videos of Obscure Horror Corner’s playthrough to go off of.
The five videos show nearly an hour of aimless wandering down dark hallways as odd sounds play and the video slowly corrupts, warping the maze into a jagged, monochromatic mess.
The game apparently gets its name from the second or so of audio that loops over and over again during sections of the game — a backward clip from Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven.” Supposedly, when played in reverse, one section of the song contains hidden messages in worship of Satan:
Here are the lyrics as they’re sung:
If there’s a bustle in your hedgerow, don’t be alarmed now, it’s just a spring clean for the May queen. Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run there’s still time to change the road you’re on.
Sad Satan’ is the first game to ever be discovered on the Deep Web, hidden on a part of the Internet unindexed by search engines like Google and unreachable without specialized tools.
Occasionally a white screen will flash in the game with some seemingly random wingdings in small black type. A Reddit user has discovered these symbols are anything but random. They are threatening:
Game Said To One User
I can track you. U are on my list,” the game threatens. “5 victim!! 🙂 :)”
THEN THERE ARE THE GHOST CHILDREN
These kids become the most imposing force in Sad Satan. During the first encounter with one little ghost girl, she just sort of APPEARS BEHIND YOU. She’s just there, and you can’t keep going until you confront her and squeeze past her and continue on your way. Hey, no thanks.
Then for good measure, during the final encounter with the dead ghost babies, one of them chases you down, taking wild swings at you. Good times.
What Does It All Mean?
It could very well be that it doesn’t mean anything, and that it’s just a bunch of long hallways and spooky backward speech designed to scare the shit out of anyone who finds it.
The many references to child abuse and inhumanity lead some to believe the story is presented from Satan’s perspective as he wanders a world that has become too corrupt to be influenced by his evil and has forgotten about him.
Others believe the message might be much darker, and that the game was created by a child abuse survivor in an attempt to express their pain.
Is It All True?
Definitely has the feel of one of those alternate reality games that starts with weird trailheads and ends up being an ad for a horror movie or some new TV show or something. If that’s the case, it’s definitely gotten out of control.
Many in the community over at the Sad Satan subreddit think that the files originally uploaded to Obscure Horror Corner were made by those behind the channel in a basic game engine called the Terror Engine, and that the story about the Deep Web and upsetting images were fabricated to add some intrigue to the narrative.
If you have any information about this game, have identified audio clips or have a Tor browser and dare to play it yourself, all the info you’ll need is in the description of the first Sad Satan YouTube video. Beware?
Netflix has just dropped a ton of new content, but it was a release last week that had everyone talking. Veronica, the Spanish horror movie, hit the streaming service on February 26 and viewers were immediately hooked. Critics and Netflix fans alike are raving about it, heralding Paco Plaza, it’s director, as a genius for creating what is being dubbed ‘the scariest horror movie ever’.Fright fans will remember Paco of course as the director of REC in 2007. While Veronica is slightly different to REC, it is no less impressive. So why is everyone freaking out? Telling the story of a young girl, who has to raise her younger siblings as her mother is absent, it takes familiar horror tropes and adds a dose of reality.
What Is Veronica About?
“Veronica” is a fictional horror movie that recently arrived on Netflix. The film is reportedly so terrifying that people are turning it off before finishing it (though not everyone finds it scary). But is it really based on a true story?
The movie’s versions of events take place in 1991 Madrid, where a girl named Veronica holds a séance with her friends at high school. Later, while babysitting her siblings at home, Veronica begins experiencing terrifying supernatural events.
“Veronica” touts itself as a movie based on true events and a real police report. Let’s take a closer look at exactly what transpired in Spain more than two decades ago.
Young Veronica and her friends take a break from looking after the siblings and mess about with the Ouija board during a solar eclipse – worse time, who knew?
Trying to summon the spirit of a dead friend’s ex, they accidentally disturb the spirit of her dead father – and then something, or rather someone, else.
The movie has all the usual things from lurking in the shadows to things skittering about, objects moving and a blind nun.
Real Story Behind “Veronica”.
Veronica is based on a girl named Estefania Gutierrez Lazaro.
But who was Estefania Gutierrez Lazaro and how did she die? Here’s what we know…
Veronica is supposedly based on the true story of a young girl in Vallecas, south Madrid, who died after playing with a Ouija board in 1990.
According to her parents, Estefania started dabbling in the occult as a teenager.
This led to her performing a seance at school – to try and contact one of her friends’ boyfriends, who had recently died in a motorbiking accident.
The ritual was interrupted by a teacher, but the group describe seeing a strange smoke going up through Estefania’s mouth and nose.
Over the following six months, Estefania started suffering from seizures and hallucinations.
She would sometimes go into a rage, barking at her brothers, or would tell her parents she saw “evil” shadows walking past her room at night.
Her worried parents took their daughter to see several doctors, but none of them could find anything physically wrong with her.
A few months later, she was found dead in her bedroom – her death completely unexplained.
Her parents said they thought her death had something to do with the Ouija board, and started to experience strange goings on in their own house afterwards.
They were haunted by slamming doors, electric appliances switching on and off, and a mysterious faint whispering. Once they moved house, all this is said to have stopped.
There’s the normal horror tropes; the glass breaks on the board, objects take on a life of their own, red stuff pours from Veronica’s mouth (it’s actually meatballs she ate for tea) and a blind cigarette smoking nun turns up.
What is the scariest part in Veronica?
When Vero and her classmates start losing control of their basement séance, she quickly becomes the demon’s unwilling vessel. For whatever reason, it has chosen Veronica, and when the lights stop flashing and everything goes dark, the two other girls use flashlights to search for her in the black. They find her on the floor. Unresponsive and murmuring something indecipherable, Veronica snaps back to consciousness with a deep-throated, monstrous wail. Her face is the only thing spotlighted by the flashlights, and even though you know it’s coming — even though you’ve seen the image on the damn poster! — the satanic shriek will throw you back in your chair.
Noah Novak claims to be from the year 2030 and said that the man sitting next to him is actually himself from the year 2070
A man who claims to be a time traveller from the year 2030 says he met himself from 40 years in the future And incredibly, the two people – who claim to be the same person – decide to give an interview together to answer the questions put to them. Unfortunately, we can’t be privy to that information because it’s ‘classified’ and he needs to make sure the government doesn’t catch him.
Note- Future Predictions are at the End of this page.
In the video, Noah Novak claims that the man sat next to him (also Noah Novak apparently) provided information to him which proved that they were the same person
But despite that, Noah reckons the guy is definitely his future self.
2030 Noah said:
He showed a bunch of personal information, he said a bunch of things about what I did, he said all the sequence of events and stuff since I came back from 2017.
He said everything that I did, and this is the type of stuff that someone would have to stalk me for my whole life to figure out.
Obviously it would be really hard for him to figure out all of this information. There’s no way that he could figure al this out unless he stalked me from the very beginning.
Now, if you’re a sci-fi buff and are wondering just how the two Noahs interacted without causing a rift in the space-time continuum, then 2070 Noah has an answer.
People from the future are fitted with special microchips which stop them from revealing anything to people which might change the course of history.
So what predictions do the two Noahs have for the future? Well, Donald Trump is definitely going to be reelected in 2020, and AI is going to become the dominant form of technology.
Thankfully, we are only ten years away from publicly available time travel, and will be making our way to Mars on the same year we manage to time travel.
Apparently, Bitcoin becomes widely used, though regular currency is also still in circulation.
To be honest, all of these predictions aren’t that wild so it’s kind of disappointing some major technological breakthrough doesn’t happen in the next ten years, but still.
To be honest though, some of these time traveller stories are a little bit suspect, to say the least.
He even showed one of the now required photographs of a futuristic city, before claiming the world will change drastically in years to come, saying:
The streets were completely void of any cars. There were no cars in the streets, the streets were one big sidewalk on which many people were walking.
I looked above and the cars were actually flying overhead. It looked almost crazy. There were so many in the air.
“Noah’s” Future Predictions
Current US president Donald Trump will be re-elected in the year 2020
Phones are going to start getting bigger towards the year 2030
Robots that can run a home are being slowly introduced
Bitcoin is being used more but money – including pennies – are still in use
Global warming issues have increased and Northern America is now hotter, while Europe is colder
Humans fly to Mars in 2028 – the same year time travel is made public
Electric cars can travel at 600 mph
Some diseases have been cured – including some forms of cancer
Artificial intelligence will be huge by 2021 and a popular device which will look like Google glasses but have the processing power of todays computers, will take over
We all fear from horror but we all love to see horror films. While watching we freak out & Whenever we are getting freaked out over a horror movie, we handle our fear by reminding ourselves that none of it is real. We remind ourselves that there is no ghost or malicious entity latched on to the movie, and it’s all a product of carefully constructed script, camera angles, music, that plays on our psyche to freak us out. This is just a movie nothing is real at all. But Do you know? in the case of some of these horror movies, it wasn’t all fake. Some of these horror movies spoke of horrors so great that maybe it translated into the film set itself, and unleashed horrors that we didn’t see in the actual movie. Here we are talking about ten such cursed horror movies that followed these movie franchises and those who associated with its making. All of these movies are super hit movies but i bet you did not knew about this behind the scene horror.
Let’s start the list!
1. The Exorcist. A Priest Was Called Many Times During The Shooting Of The Film Because There Was Too Much Unusual Activity Happening Around The Set & On It’s Premiere, Many People Fainted With Unknown Reasons.
The story of the curse of The Exorcist movie as believed by most people who have studied these events is that the evil entity latched on to the movie itself, thus dooming everybody who was involved in the filmmaking process. Onset fires and a series of mysterious deaths of and in the families of those on set was made into a two hour special by E!
At many points a real priest was brought in to bless the set, and he seemed sure that Satan didn’t want the film to be made. Furthering belief in the alleged curse is the fact that Jack MacGowran, who played Burke Dennings, died of influenza shortly after completing his scenes. Other oddly timed deaths included actress Vasiliki Maliaros, Max von Sydow’s brother and Linda Blair’s grandfather. Both Ellen Burstyn and Linda Blair sustained fairly serious spinal area injuries during filming.
The strange activity continued after the movie was shot, with many fainting, passing out and/or vomiting upon its theatrical release. At one screening in Rome, a church nearby was struck by lightning after the audience filed into the theater, a giant cross landing in the plaza below.
2. The Amityville Horror. The Star Of The Film James Brolin Did Not Believed In The Story & Something Very Strange Happened To Him That He actually Started To Believe.
The Amityville Horror was based on the real life haunting of the Lutz family after they moved into a reportedly haunted house in Amityville, New York. The ghostly aura surrounding the real-life tale pervaded the set, but much of that has been dismissed as invention to drum up publicity. Star James Brolin, who didn’t believe in the Lutzes’ story, experienced a fright while studying the novel for the film. Initially hesitant to take the part, he agreed to do it after his pants fell from their hanger causing him to jump and nearly crash his head through the ceiling.
Around the second century BCE, the kings of Pergamon built a thermal space at Hierapolis, which is now modern-day Turkey. Now, it just lies in ruins, but something within still stirs – something far more ancient than those that once lived atop it.
A cave ancient Romans believed to be a gate to the underworld was so deadly that it killed all animals who entered its proximity, while not harming the human priests who led them. Now scientists believe they have figured out why – a concentrated cloud of carbon dioxide that suffocated those who breathed it. It was also known as Plutonium.
What Is This Cave Actually?
This cave was Rediscovered by archaeologists from the University of Salento seven years ago. This cave is ancient more like 2,200 Years old. It was located in a city called Hierapolis in ancient Phrygia, now Turkey, and was used for animal sacrifices.
It was thought to be so deadly that it killed all animals which entered its proximity. Though it never apparently harmed the priests who led them there.
It was named after the Roman god of the underworld. It had something which proved to be lethal to anything that stood inside the cave for too long. It is known that humans that entered the cave fared better than the bulls, rams, and songbirds they often sacrificed, and a new paper has finally revealed why.
Greek historian Strabo (64 BCE – 24 CE) once wrote:
This space is full of vapour so misty and dense that one can scarcely see the ground. Any animal that passes inside meets instant death. I threw in sparrows and they immediately breathed their last and fell.
This Mystery Is Now Solved.
Archaeologists who went to the cave’s location found that birds flying too close to its entrance were still suffocating and dropping dead, proving the rumours to be true.
So what’s to blame? Volcanologist Hardy Pfanz of the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany put it down to seismic activity under the ground – a deep fissure below the region which emits large amounts of volcanic carbon dioxide.
Measurements taken of the carbon dioxide levels in the arena connected to the cave found that the gas formed a ‘lake’ that was 40 centimetres above the arena floor. Sunlight and wind helped disperse this deadly aroma.
Thus, entering the cave before dawn proves the deadliest level concentration. It would ‘easily kill even a human being within a minute.’
Prof. Pfanz said:
The Galli [Eunuch priests] stood on stones around the poor bull or goat and demonstrated their supernatural powers. At this height they could stand for 20-40 minutes without being endangered.”
Nobody could enter the gate to hell without getting asphyxiated. But if the Galli kept their breath for a while they could crawl into the gate up to their waist.
